GREENSBORO, NC-- Another fast moving clipper system will move across the Piedmont tonight. Sunny and dry weather will follow for Sunday and Monday with a warm up in temperatures. An Arctic cold front will move through the area Tuesday morning and usher in much colder air.
Today will be sunny, brisk and cold with a high of 38. Westerly winds will average 10 to 20 mph making it feel like temperatures are in the 20's. The clipper system will approach this evening as clouds build. There will be a chance of snow flurries or snow showers after midnight. the overnight low will be 27.
Sunday and Monday will be mostly sunny with a high of 47 on Sunday and 56 on Monday. the low Sunday night will be 28.
Colder air will arrive by Wednesday and Thursday with highs in the mid 30's and lows in the mid teens.
