GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Greensboro-based NewBridge Bank is working to fix a problem that is impacting some of its customers.
WFMY News 2 received a Facebook message from a viewer that said he and multiple family members noticed higher charges on their bank statements. The man said some of the charges reached "up to 10 times the amount of their original transactions."
We contacted NewBridge Bank about the story. Here's the email statement we received from a bank spokesperson:
Due to client confidentiality and privacy concerns, we cannot discuss specific details about bank operations.
However, we can confirm that we've identified all of the impacted clients and are diligently focused on crediting clients' accounts for any duplicate transactions.
We encourage concerned clients to email us their contact information at firstname.lastname@example.org. When emailing, clients should not include private and confidential information such as social security numbers and account numbers.
