GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Police have arrested a suspect in a Greensboro kidnapping case.
Dejerod Thomas Clapp is facing multiple charges for a kidnapping reported at the Pop Shoppe on Friday.

Greensboro and Graham police officers, along with the SBI, arrested Clapp on Tuesday at his home in Graham.
Prosecutors charged him with first-degree kidnapping, felonious restraint, robbery with a dangerous weapon, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, assault by strangulation, assault on a female and communicating threats.
Clapp is in the Guilford County Jail under a $200,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court Thursday.
On Friday, police said a Pop Shoppe employee called about a missing co-worker. Shortly after the report, they received multiple 911 calls about a "possible assault or kidnapping." Police said the woman disappeared from the store and reappeared in a nearby wooded area. She asked people in a home for help.
