cold front will move through the area on Wednesday.
Today through Monday will be mostly sunny. We may see a few high clouds from time to time. The high today will be 58, and 64 on Sunday, and 62 on Monday. Tonight low under a clear sky will be 38.
Dry weather will start the new week. It will be mostly sunny on Monday and partly sunny on Tuesday. High temperatures both days will be in the low 60's.
With regards to the Arctic cold front, medium range forecast models are beginning to agree a bit better as of this morning's runs. An Arctic cold front will move across the area last Tuesday. High temperatures on Tuesday, in the mid 50's, will be reached by early afternoon as colder air begins to filter in. A wave of low pressure is expected to develop near the North Carolina coast. While the bulk of the moisture will move east of the Triad, there will likely be enough moisture to produce light rain and mixed light snow for late Tuesday night through for Wednesday morning. No accumulation is expected at this time.
Sunshine and colder weather will be here for Thursday and Friday. Highs will be near 50, with lows in the mid and upper 20's.
