Greensboro, NC--Chilly, Canadian high pressure will build over New England and control Piedmont weather through Tuesday. A cold front will approach and bring a chance of showers late Wednesday night and through Thursday.
Tonight temperatures will fall rather quickly after sunset. Under a clear sky and light winds, the low will be 33. Monday will be mostly sunny and chilly with a high of 55. A brisk northeasterly wind will add to the chill.
The center of high pressure will move off the East Coast Tuesday through Wednesday. The return southwesterly wind will promote a warming trend. It will also increase moisture in the form of high clouds on Tuesday and thicker clouds on Wednesday. The high Tuesday will be 57 and 65 on Wednesday.
A cold front will bring a chance of showers late Wednesday night and Thursday. The high Thursday will be near 68. Cooler and dry weather is expected by Friday and Saturday.
