Winston-Salem, NC-- The U.S. Marshals Office has arrested a man who was wanted for robbery and kidnapping in home invasion.

According to a news release, around 1:15 p.m Tuesday, Andrew Michael Brackman, 20, was taken into custody by members of the U.S. Marshals Joint Fugitive Task Force (JFTF). Brackman was wanted by the Davidson County Sheriff's Office for First-Degree Burglary, Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and First Degree Kidnapping. Brackman was allegedly involved in an Aug. 16 home invasion off of Riverwood Drive in Southmont.

Until Tuesday, Brackman, who is one of three suspects, had eluded officers. Investigators have already arrested and charged: Kaylle Michelle Wilkins, 25, and Charles Dietz, 23 and Cole McKay Parris, 23.

Deputies state in arrest warrants that four people armed with handguns broke into a home on Riverwood Drive between the hours of 4:45 and 5:02 a.m. on August 16th. According to the warrants, the suspects took 10 firearms, $30,000 in cash, and jewelry in the value of $60,000. The four threatened the victims with a handgun and kidnapped one of the residents, the warrants state.

Davidson County Sheriff's Office asked the Greensboro U.S. Marshals Service to assist in Brackman's arrest. The JFTF set up surveillance for multiple hours at his girlfriend's home and after a brief stand-off, Brackman was arrested. He is currently in the Davidson County Jail.
