High Point, NC -- A High Point man was arrested after five people were wounded in a shooting on the street in front of Sellers Grocery Store.
Police said the shooting happened Friday around 7:30 pm on the 2200 block of Little Avenue. Monday, they arrested Kenneth Malik Wise, 18, in connection to the shooting.
Wise was taken to the Guilford County Jail where he was issued a $500,200 secured bond. Police said he was charged with four counts of Attempted Murder and four counts of Assault With A Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury With Intent To Kill. He is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday morning.
The victims went to High Point Regional Hospital after the shooting, according to police. They said all the victims had non-life threatening injuries.
