Police: Interstate Theft Ring Exceeds $1 Mil Of Stolen Property

High Point, NC -- Three of four men suspected of what police in High Point are calling an interstate theft ring - estimating more than a million dollars of stolen property - have been arrested.

High Point police officers said their investigation took nearly one year before they received warrants for Antonio Campbell, 23; Yuri Monroe, 23; Maurice Lamar Mitchell, 27; and Christopher Black, 30.

Police claim these men stole vehicles, lawn equipment and heavy equipment spanning at least four states including: North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Georgia. 

Both Antonio Campbell and Yuri Monroe are currently being held in the Guilford County Jail for 12 counts each Felony Larceny and two counts each of Receiving Stolen Property. Campbell was issued a $400,000 bond, Monroe a $300,000 bond.

Investigators said they have not yet located Mitchell and said Black is currently in jail in SC, awaiting extradition to NC. No photo was available for these men.
