Greensboro PD: Three Killed In Wrong-Way Accident

Greensboro, NC -- Police are investigating a Sunday morning accident that killed three people under the age of 25, according to police dispatch.

Officers responded to the crash scene at Wendover Avenue between Walker Avenue and W. Market St. just after 2 a.m.

Police say Louis Miner Jr., of Smyrna, DE, was driving a Ford Taurus the wrong way on eastbound Wendover, causing the collision.

Investigators say 21-year-old Alan Stewart of Elizabeth City was driving a Dodge Neon with 19-year-old Fatima Weaver of Greensboro in the passenger's seat.

All three victims died on the scene, according to police.

The Greensboro Police Crash Reconstruction Team is still investigating this accident.
