Daydreaming can be even more dangerous than texting and driving.

WBTV reports a new study found one in ten of the people killed in car crashes from 2010 to 2011 were distracted driving cases. The study also found drivers "lost in thought" were five times more likely to be in a fatal accident than drivers using gadgets behind the wheel.

"Your minds are in different places and you kind of realize how did I even get to where I'm at cause you're not even focusing on the road," Jordan Peek, a driver, said.

Other distractions include rubbernecking, distractions from other passengers, using a GPS and eating while driving.
