Greensboro, NC -- Four tractor-trailer drivers who each have logged more than one million accident-free miles are offering insight they believe can keep everyone safer on the road.
Their advice comes as Volvo Trucks North America and Mack Trucks team up for the American Trucking Associations' outreach programs "Share the Road" and "America's Road Team."
Drivers John Foran (3.1 million accident-free miles), Eddie Hosegood (1.8 million accident-free miles), Dennis Day (2.9 million accident-free miles) and Gary Leu (4.3 million accident-free miles) told WFMY News 2's The Good Morning Show how they've logged so much time on the road safely.
They all say the key to their safe driving is building a series of positive habits. Those habits are things all drivers should utilize, they say. From maintaining a proper following distance to avoiding distracted driving, the men say making our roads safer can be achieved if everyone does their part.
