Greensboro, N.C. -- You can't predict everything; but you can plan for it, just in case.
On Saturday, January 25, 2014 the Stephen Ministry at St. James Presbyterian Church will hold a free one day conference about preparing for life-changing events.
Dr. Adnee Bradford and Lolita Watkins talked about the event and its importance, Wednesday on the Good Morning Show.
"Our program is designed to bring awareness to people about planning that involves major decisions that impact the quality of our lives or the lives of those whom we love," said Watkins.
Experts will share information on creating a will, housing or storing important documents, nursing care versus home care for loved ones, determining when legal advice is required and identifying available resources provided through social services.
The free one day conference starts at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2014. It's in the fellowship hall of St. James Presbyterian Church on Ross Avenue in Greensboro. A continental breakfast will also be provided.
You can learn more information and register for the free event by calling 336-273-6658. Ask for Wanda Freeman.
