GREENSBORO, N.C. -- It's all about giving back and what better way to do it, then by using your talents.  The piano students at Weaver Academy in Greensboro are doing exactly that in their  Winter Keyboard Ensemble Concert on Tuesday, December 17, 2013.

Donations from the concert will benefit the Out of the Garden Project, which is a non-profit organization in Greensboro that feeds families in need.

"The amount of families and students who can't afford it is like 56% in Guilford County," said Hayley Turner, who is doing her senior project on the group.  "For children to go without something as common as food is just terrible, so I'm just glad that we're getting to give back and we can help," she said.

"Our motto here in Pianoland is from the heart, to the world.  These kids work really hard on their music, pouring over the notes and putting soul into every single note that they're making.  And this is just a way for us to give back," said piano instructor, Mark Freunt.

The Pianoland students have a big goal.  They want to give $1,000 to the Out of the Garden Project.

You can support the students and give back at the same time at their Winter Keyboard Ensemble tonight at 7 p.m.  The concert is free, but they are taking donations for the charity.  You can find the school at 300 South Spring Street in Greensboro.
