GREENSBORO, NC -- From the Biltmore in Asheville to the Reynolda House in Winston-Salem, North Carolina is home to gorgeous architecture with a rich history. And the Blandwood Mansion in Greensboro is no exception.
On Thursday, WFMY News 2's Lauren Melvin got a tour of the Blandwood Mansion, which was once the family home of Governor John Motley Morehead.
The home is decorated for the holidays, which highlights both history and tradition during the 19th century.
Holiday tours of the Blandwood Mansion begin on Thursday, November 14 and are available through December 29, 2013.
Admission is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors and $5 for children 12 and under.
The Blandwood Mansion, which is at 447 West Washington Street in Greensboro, is open Tuesday through Sunday.
