Greensboro, NC - For the 12th year, dozens of men will step up to the plate in Greensboro to show women and the community they can cook.
This Saturday is the 12th Annual Men Can Cook fundraiser for the Women's Resource Center.
The Women's Resource Center helps women in the Greensboro community get back on their feet after hardship, so they can lead productive lives.
From appetizers, to entrees and even sweets, year after year the "Community Chefs" continue to impress diners with their culinary skills.
This year, more than 50 Community Chefs plan to participate.
The event is on Saturday, October 19, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Greensboro Coliseum Special Events Center.
There will be a silent auction, featuring more than 200 items donated by area businesses and families. This year the Rob Massengale Jazz Band will also entertain everyone at the event.
Tickets for adults are $45 and tickets for children under 10 are $10.
