Greensboro Police Trading In Badges For Aprons

Greensboro, NC - Greensboro police officers will be trading in their badges for aprons on Saturday for a great cause. The event is part of the national Tip-A-Cop event benefitting Special Olympics.

Officers will collect tips and help serve meals at the Red Robin Gourmet Burgers restaurant located at 1507 Highwoods Boulevard. Officers will be there from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. All of the proceeds will raise funds and awareness about local Special Olympics programs.

Special Olypmics North Carolina provides year-round sports training and competition for more than 38,000 athletes in the state who have intellectual disabilities.
