Graham, NC - Chances are, you've never seen anything like this.  Thirty-five masterpieces, created by a world-renown artist using millions of LEGO Bricks.

Tracey McCain takes you on a tour of the art show you can only see through October at the Alamance County Arts Council.

Most of the pieces in artist Nathan Sawaya's exhibit are made with between 15 and 20 thousand LEGO Bricks.  Cary Worthy, the Executive Director of the Arts Council says each piece can take between 3 to 5 weeks to build.

Worthy pointed to one piece and explained where Sawaya got the LEGO Bricks for it.  "They were donated from families with kids who didn't want their LEGO'S anymore," Worthy said.  "But Nathan also buys his LEGO Bricks wholesale from the manufacturer which can be really costly."

The Art of the Brick museum exhibitions are currently touring the United States, Australia and Asia.  Normally, you'd pay to see this exhibit, but in Alamance County it's FREE.

The Art of the Brick is available for viewing at the Alamance County Arts Council and the Children's Museum of Alamance County in August, September and October 2013.
