Taylor Swift is this year's top celebrity do-gooder.

The singer has topped nonprofit website DoSomething.org's list of the most charitable stars of 2013.

Swift, who earned the No. 1 spot for the second consecutive year, was lauded for donating $100,000 to the Nashville Symphony on her 24th birthday, and also for headlining the Winter Whites gala in London, which benefited a charity that helps homeless youth (and where she sang onstage with Prince William and Jon Bon Jovi).

The second-place spot on the "20 Celebs Gone Good" list went to the heartthrobs of One Direction, who kicked off the year by volunteering in Ghana with the U.K. charity Comic Relief. Two of the group's members, Harry Styles and Liam Payne, also raised more than $800,000 through the fundraising platform Prizeo for Trekstock, a London-based nonprofit that supports cancer research, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"It's pretty amazing that the top two spots on the list are held by celebrities under age 25," Naomi Hirabayashi, CMO of DoSomething.org, said in a statement. "For the first time, 50 percent of the list is age 30 or younger. This rising generation is using their money and star power for good."

Beyonce came in third on the website's list, followed by the late actor Paul Walker and rap duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.
