Jon Bon Jovi gave love - the official, matrimonial, hopefully lasting kind -
a good name Saturday when he walked a fan down the aisle in Las Vegas.
Aussie Branca Delic tied the knot with Gonzalo Cladera in a blaze of
garland-bedecked glory (yes, we're gonna keep going with this) when her rocker
idol answered her Facebook and website (BonJoviWalkMeDownTheAisle.com) prayer.
Bon Jovi was in Sin City performing a show as part of his Because We Can tour.
On her Web page, Delic, 34, pleaded, "We're begging you ... make this
wedding happen. There is plenty of time in the afternoon for you to come and
walk her down the aisle before the show. We're living on a prayer and we want
you to come lay your hands on me and walk me down the aisle!"
And he was there for her, in jeans and white button-down shirt. The bride
wore white and carried a black bouquet. And, of course, Elvis (or one of his
many doppelgangers) officiated at the Graceland Wedding Chapel, where Bon Jovi
said "I do" to high school sweetheart Dorothea Hurley in 1989.
And, thankfully, the carpeted aisle didn't look slippery when dry.
The New Jersey legend tweeted
effusive kudos: "Congratulations @branksd! May you & Gonzalo have a
lifetime of happiness, love & memories together - ALWAYS!"
And judging from her gobsmacked grin and sweet tweet, Delic was
smitten with her impromptu usher: "@BonJovi thanks, Jon. You're an amazing
human being for taking the time with us. See you in Sydney #championbloke"
