GREENSBORO, N.C. -- High pressure with chilly and dry air will continue to build over the area Thursday and through the holiday weekend. This will keep our local weather rain free and chilly through Sunday.
For Thursday, sunshine returned to the Piedmont. It will also be mostly sunny Friday. The high Thursday will be 42. The high on Friday will be 48. The low Thursday night will be 24, and 27 on Friday night.
As the center of the high pressure builds over New England, moisture will gradually build over the weekend. This means more of a mix of sun and clouds as opposed to bright sunshine. High temperatures will be in the mid and upper 40s Saturday and Sunday, with lows in the upper 20s.
Our normal high temperature is 56, and our normal low is 36.
