HABERSHAM COUNTY, Ga. -- Police arrested a Georgia man for a fire at a gas station that badly burned his wife.
According to CBS Atlanta, Austin Dawkins is facing a Reckless Conduct charge.
The incident happened mid-October. A fire official told CBS that Dawkins was fueling his truck when he ignited his cigarette lighter near his gas tank. The flick of the lighter caused a fuel vapor explosion.
His wife was standing beside him when this happened. Surveillance photos show the woman covered in flames. CBS says the incident caused second and third degree burns on her legs, arms, back and head.
The Habersham District Attorney is evaluating the case.
