BURLINGTON, N.C. -- First, 12-year-old Madison Kimrey attempted to speak to Governor Pat McCrory by taking him a cake. Now, she's a full blown political activist.
In August, Madison Kimrey brought a cake she baked to McCrory in Raleigh. She said the idea stemmed from an earlier incident when McCrory passed out cookies to protestors outside the governor's mansion.
