Police Investigate Attempted Robbery At Greensboro Buddhist Center

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Police are investigating an attempted robbery at the Greensboro Buddhist Center on Liberty Road.

Police responded to the religious center's report after 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.

A 58-year-old man told investigators that a man tried to rob him at gunpoint. Police said the armed suspect broke a window before entering the building. He left after he was unable to take any money.

The victim described the suspect as a white man who concealed his face and wore dark clothing.

No injuries were reported.
