St. Rose, LA -- A 14-year-old Louisiana boy has been booked with terrorizing after authorities say he made threats on a social media site to shoot several students at a Fayetteville, North Carolina school.

The boy, whom the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office didn't identify because he is a minor, was arrested Tuesday and is being held under a $100,000 bond.

Louisiana investigators, along with the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office in North Carolina, began investigating the teen on Oct. 6 after he allegedly made threats of "mass violence" in a chat room.

Investigators said the boy told them that he got the names of the students from a social media account to make them think the threats were real.
