NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. -- Tijuana Davis, a 39-year-old Niagara Falls
woman, was shot and killed in the early morning hours Saturday in her
apartment at 1828 North Avenue, police say.
Two suspects were arrested at the scene
and charged with murder. They are Richard Henry Moore, 50, and Cammesoa
Marie Williams, 42, both of Winston-Salem, NC. They are also charged
with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal use of a firearm in
the second degree.
Police say Moore and Williams were in
town for a wedding and met the victim through a friend. A fight broke
out at the apartment some time before 4 a.m. between Davis, Moore,
Williams and a third woman, whose name has not been released. Moore shot Davis in the abdomen and
then left with Williams in a rental car. Both suspects returned to the
scene a short time later, and then Williams shot the victim in the
buttocks with the same handgun used by Moore.
That's when Niagara Falls Police Department officers arrived and arrested both suspects. Davis was taken to Erie County Medical Center. Police released news of her passing at about 12:45 p.m. Saturday.
