RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. -- People from around the country are buying copies of "Invisible Man" for Randolph County students.

A parent complained the book was too filthy for teenagers.

Randolph County native and writer, Evan Smith Rakoff, is providing 100 free copies of the book at the Books-a-Million in Asheboro to high schoolers.

Since then, people from around the country have volunteered to buy the books for students.

The Randolph County school board will reconsider the ban Wednesday.
