Greensboro, NC -- Tuesday morning, five local high school students will take a big step toward their future career.  They'll start job shadowing at TIMCO Aviation in Greensboro.

Monday night, the Andrews High School Juniors from High Point came together with their families to learn about the 5-week program that's partnered with Junior Achievement.

One day a week, the students will shadow engineers and technicians getting a better idea of the profession.  Among their duties, they'll work with Avionics, the U-S Air Force KC10 program and even in Hangar One with Alaska Airlines.

Students involved hope the program will help jumpstart their career.  If all goes as planned, the students will continue as interns next year and get the chance to work at Timco when they graduate high school.
