DANVILLE, Va. -- Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell announced Friday a tire mold company will open a manufacturing facility in Danville, creating up to 120 jobs.
North American Mold Technology (NAMT) chose Danville over Ohio for its new location. The company intends to invest $4.35 million to operate a 260,000-square-foot facility.
No information was provided as to when the facility is expected to be functioning and when they will begin hiring for the jobs.
The governor's office and other agencies provided $770,000 in funding to assist with the project.
NAMT is a new company that will assemble and repair tire molds and provide support services to tire manufacturers in the U.S and other countries.
