Triad -- Saturday was a beautiful one across the Triad. The sun shone full force, and the official high at PTI was 74 degrees. Compare that to the average high of 80.
Our first taste of fall will stretch into Sunday as well. With high pressure in charge, we will keep our sunny skies for the second half of the weekend. The clear skies will bring a cool night. Lows fall to the low 50s by morning. Highs will increase to the upper 70s. Just keep in mind, that is still below average.
A new cold front will approach on Monday. Before it moves through, we will jump back to the low 80s. Late in the afternoon, the front could spark off a few showers. The chance stands at only 20%.
The next cool down will come on Tuesday and Wednesday when highs return to the upper 70s.
