Triad -- If you didn't quite get enough summer weather when it was summer, you're in luck.
Beginning Sunday, highs will be in the upper 80s. The humidity will also be on the increase.
A cold front will be pulling closer to the Piedmont Sunday night and will move through on Monday morning. That will take highs back to the mid 80s for one day. Then another warming trend will kick in.
It will be hotter Tuesday through Thursday than most of the summer was. Highs will be in the upper 80s and the humidity will be noticeable.
By Thursday, another cold front will approach. This one will actually bring change. Highs on Friday and Saturday will be in the low 80s, with fall-like humidity levels.
