ALAMANCE CO. - The 25-year-old who was driving a severely damaged car wasn't wearing a seatbelt when he died.
Troopers found him hanging out of the driver's side windshield.
Friday morning, students at Southern Alamance High will see the wrecked car when they arrive at school.
Clint Carroll, a North Carolina state trooper, said, "Kids these days need to see this. They need a visual aid and this is something that I hope as they walk up the hill from the student parking lot up to the school tomorrow morning, it jumps out at them and grabs their attention."
Troopers hope the kids will be scared straight into strapping into their cars - no excuses.
