GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Greensboro-based Kayser-Roth Corporation is expanding and adding jobs to two North Carolina cities.
"No nonsense", a Kayser-Roth brand, announced Tuesday that they are partnering with Wal-Mart to expand its "Made in the USA" program. The company said in a statement they intend to invest up to $28 million in their Burlington and Asheboro operations.
Mac Williams, president of the Alamance County Chamber of Commerce, told WFMY News 2 a total of 100 jobs will be evenly divided between the two cities.
George Gusley, president of the Asheboro-Randolph Chamber of Commerce, said construction will start soon on the two facilities.
According to a news release, Wal-Mart is spearheading the effort to bring together retailers, suppliers and government officials, including companies like Kayser-Roth.
