Brandon's Ten Minute Shrimp Salad
- 1 pound bag of shrimp, peeled and uncooked
- 1 large bag of salad greens or spinach
- 1-2 tablespoons of Vegetable Oil
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of Seasoning Salt or Seasoning of Choice
- 1 cup grated 2% reduced-fat mild Cheddar cheese
- Fat-Free salad dressing-Italian or Ranch preferred
Wash and peel shrimp. Add black pepper and seasoning salt to the shrimp. Preheat skillet on medium. Add vegetable oil. Once hot add shrimp. Saute' until shrimp turns pink. Do not overcook. Place salad into a bowl. Add the shrimp into the bowl with the base salad and toss with cheese.
Optional: Add a dash or two of red pepper to kick it up a little! Other salad toppings are delicious as well! Now you are ready to enjoy a simple ten minute shrimp salad with the salad dressing of your choice!!!!
