Championship Game Day Recipes From Natty Greene's

It is down to the final two and we are making sure your viewing party for the NCAA Championship Game is a hit! We asked Chris Tobin, the head chef from Natty Greene's, to come up with some dishes inspired by the final two teams and he did not disappoint. He created incredibly tasty dishes that your guests will love, no matter what side they're rooting for.

Here are the recipes from Chef Chris:

Michigan Hot Dog Sauce
2 sm. onions, chopped fine
1 clove garlic, chopped fine
1 lb. hamburger
1 can tomato paste
1 or 2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. cayenne
1 tsp. paprika
2 c. chicken stock


BlackBean and Corn Salad W/ Avocado
30 ozs black beans (rinsed and drained)
15 ozs corn 
2 red bell peppers (diced)
2 cloves clove garlic (minced)
.5 dice red onion
2 tsps salt
14 tsp cayenne pepper
2 tbsps sugar
9 tbsps extra virgin olive oil (colavita)
6 tbsps fresh lime juice
1 tsp lime zest (limes before juicing)
12 cup chopped cilantro (garnish)
2 avocados (diced)


Cardinal's Fried Chicken

1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground oregano
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon dried sage
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoons salt
2 Tablespoons paprika
1 Tablespoon onion salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon celery salt

1 cup buttermilk
1 egg

Louisville Rice Salad
1 cup uncooked white rice
2 cups water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
1 teaspoon white sugar
1 tablespoon chopped fresh tarragon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup toasted sesame seeds
1/2 cup strawberry
1/2 cup orange segments, drained and coarsely chopped (optional)
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup finely chopped celery
1/2 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
1/2 cup blanched green beans
