Police Investigating Robberies At 2 Subways

Greensboro, NC -- Police are investigating two robberies at Subway restaurants in Greensboro Tuesday night.

In the first, officers responded to the Subway on High Point Road at 8:10 p.m.

Witnesses told police two black males, one of which were armed, walked into the restaurant and demanded money. The two ran from the Subway after taking the money and continued on behind the business.

Officers searched the area, but weren't able to find the suspects. Police say both were wearing hooded sweatshirts.

In the second robbery, officers spoke to witnesses at the Subway on Hicone Road just after 10 p.m.

This time, both suspects carried guns into the restaurant and took money before running behind the business and possibly getting into a car.

Police say these suspects were also wearing hooded sweatshirts.

No one was injured in either robbery.

Police do not know if the two are related, but say they will continue to investigate both incidents.
