Greensboro, NC -- Career consultant Joyce Richman talked about the importance of being a team player and not burning bridges.
"Check your assumptions. Don't be telling yourself stories about the people you work with, stories that blow up the bridges, stories that put up walls. In this economy, with jobs as precious few as they are, take care of the job you have, take care of the people you work with. Find ways to build them up, build bridges to them, find ways to find alignment. If you have a wall that's in the way, tear it down. Be the kind of team player and team builder that any company needs to have on board," said Richman.
