Lexington, NC-- People from all over turned out Saturday to honor the memory of a fallen Navy Seal from Lexington.
The Josh Harris Veterans Festival and Memorial Ride was held at the Parkway Plaza off I85 in Lexington. It featured a motorcycle ride, food drinks and military displays.
The charge to get in was $5.00 and all of the money collected will go towards military charities and college scholarships.
The festival was started last year to pay homage to Joshua Harris, a Navy Special Warfare Officer killed in 2008 during combat in Afghanistan.
Harris was part of the Navy Seal Team 6 that killed Bin Laden on May 2.
Organizers said the festival is a way to honor all military veterans and those on active duty.
