Greensboro, NC -- Families in the Triad need your help. WFMY News 2's Food 2 Families campaign is working with the Greensboro Urban Ministry for an emergency food drive.

Over the next two weekends, volunteers from churches across Greensboro are collecting food at area grocery stores. One volunteer, Bill Rogers, said their goal is to help anyone in need. "Greensboro, though a thriving community in many ways economically, there are people who are having real difficulty keeping their homes, keeping things going for kids."

March 26 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm you can bring donations to Lowes food stores in Greensboro.

April 1 and 2, also from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Harris Teeter, Food Lion, Compare, Best Way, and Earth Fare stores around Greensboro will accept donations around the city.
