Winston-Salem, NC -- Two unfinished projects in the Triad are still in limbo today.
McNair Elementary in Guilford County and Fire Station No. 19 are still on hold after Farley and Associates was removed from the projects.
Guilford County Schools says it has signed a takeover agreement and sent it back to the bonding company Hartford, but it has not signed it yet.
Once the agreement is signed, it will mean the bonding company is taking over the McNair Elementary project, and it will assign a contractor.
J.E. Dunn is likely the contractor. The company has been on site at McNair for two days.
Guilford County Schools says it will be two weeks before they hear the recommendations, assessments and new proposed timeline and schedule for project completion.
And in Winston-Salem, the City and Hartford are working to find a construction company to finish the fire station.
City leaders say they are working with Hartford today on an agreement to ge the project done. They say Hartford has a construction company in mind to finish building the fire station, but they haven't announced a decision yet.
