Recipe: Peaches Foster's Bread Pudding
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup of peaches (frozen or fresh)
1/4 cup of Whiskey honey or maple flavor
1 pint of vanilla ice cream
1 package of Hawaiian sweet rolls
1/4 of condensed sweet milk
1/4 tablespoon of maple syrup
First in a small sauce pot combine butter, maple syrup, sweet milk and 1/2 cup of diced peaches. Allow the ingredients to merry/blend together for about ten minutes. In a side bowl have your Hawaiian rolls (with 1/4 brown sugar and white sugar) cut into cubes (size of cubes can vary). Pour warm liquid from sauce pan onto the cubed bread. Grease your muffin tin and place spoonful amounts of the bread pudding mixture into the tin. Allow bread pudding to bake for thirty minutes.
In a medium sautée pan combine maple or honey whiskey, whole peach slices, 1/4 brown sugar, vanilla extract with melted butter. Allow mixture to bubble and then remove from the heat.
drizzle sauce in bottom of dish and place two peach slice in sauce. On top of the sauce place bread pudding cupcake and atop it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Drizzle a little for sauce on top of the ice cream with peach mixture with a mint leaf for color and decoration.
