Triad -- When I first heard about the TickleMe Plant, I wasn't that impressed. Who wants to tickle a plant?
Everyone after you see it!
The TickleMe Plant is very easy to grow. Follow the directions and the plants should sprout in less than seven days as long as temperatures are between 70 and 85. (You'll have to bring it inside when it gets cool.) As it gets bigger, you can tickle the leaves and they shrink back. They also go to sleep and wake up in the morning.
You can even do experiments with the TickleMe Plant. See what time it goes to sleep and wakes up. Find the plant's most tickle-ish spots. See how temperatures and light affect the plants. Try singing to it. Does that help it grow?
Kids can learn about keeping a control group. When you do a scientific experiment, you should always keep one plant aside and do nothing to it. That way, when you manipulate another plant, you have something to compare it to.
