Greensboro, NC -- One woman is dead, and a man was treated and released from a hospital after a Sunday morning stabbing, police say.
Officers responded to 2119 Bulla St. around 3:30 a.m. in reference to a victim with a stab wound. Police found two victims at the scene when they arrived.
Paramedics took both patients to a local hospital for treatment.
Lakeisha Wells, 39, died as a result of her injuries, according to a news release. The other victim, 32-year-old Marcus Robinson, was treated and released from the hospital.
Police do not have any suspect information in the case.
Detectives shut down Bulla Street between Dana Place and Memphis Street for several hours for an investigation.
