Police Arrest Suspect In Greensboro Shooting, Victim In Hospital

Greensboro, NC -- Police have arrested a suspect in an early morning shooting in Greensboro.

Officers responded to 2509 Rowe St. just before 6 a.m. and found a man, now identified as Wayne Deago McAuley, lying in a yard with multiple gunshot wounds.

EMS transported McAuley, 29, to a hospital Sunday.

Detectives later arrested 31-year-old Robert Allen Woolridge after an investigation into the shooting. He's charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.

Police are still investigating this incident.
