High Point, NC -- U.S. Marshals arrested a Pennsylvania woman Thursday wanted on drug and weapons charges.
Jessica Torres, 34, is charged with felony drug distribution, possessing a firearm by a felon and for possessing a bullet proof vest, acording to the U.S. Marshals Service Joint Fugitive Task Force.
Investigators recently received a tip about Torres' whereabouts, which placed her here in the Triad. Officers later determined she was hiding out in the 1700 block of Hamilton Street in High Point.
Officers found Torres hiding in a closet after they made their way into the home Thursday.
Marshals arrested Torres and placed her in the Guilford County Jail, where she awaits extradition to Reading, PA, to face her charges.
