Burlington, NC -- Police arrested three suspects Monday on drug charges after receiving tips from the community about possible drug sales in Burlington.
Officers investigated a home at 538 S. Ireland St. Monday and found 8.1 grams of cocaine, 1.8 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, according to the police department.
Police arrested Walter Sterling Pride, 60, Monique Michelle King, 31, and Philip Neil Benton, 41, after the investigation.
Officers cited 39-year-old Tremain Lee Teel for misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana and released him from the scene.
Pride is charged with Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine, Maintaining a Dwelling, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Non-Tax-Paid Alcohol. He's being held in the Alamance County Jail under a $10,000 secured bond.
King is charged with Possession of Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He's being held under a $5,000 secured bond.
Benton is charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and was released on a written promise to appear in court.
