Graham, NC-- A man out on bail is now wanted by local law enforcement and a US Marshal's Task Force after he was a no-show for court.
Deputies said Kelvin Lamont Slade, 39, was scheduled to appear today in Alamance County Court on charges of First Degree Sex Offense on a Child, but he did not show up to his trial.
In a news release, officers said Slade had been out on bond before his court date and was not in custody when he initially came to the courthouse Monday.
Deputies said, during jury selection, Slade walked out of the courthouse and has not been seen since.
A judge issued a warrant for Slade's arrest for failing to appear in court. When arrested, his bond will be set at $2,000.
