Thomasville, NC -- Police arrested and charged a Thomasville resident for stabbing a man in the chest Saturday.
Officers responded to 809 Martin Luther King Drive for a possible assault. EMS also responded to the scene on a sick call. When officers arrived, they found a man with a stab wound to his chest.
Police have not released the victim's name.
EMS took the man to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center for treatment, while officers investigated the stabbing.
Detectives later identified Naema N. Henderson, 24, as the suspect in the case. Officers arrested and charged Henderson with felonious assualt.
Henderson has been placed in the Davidson County Detention Center. The court date is set for Feb. 27.
