GREENSBORO, NC -- Folks from Greensboro all the way west to Mocksville are trying to figure out what to do.
A closed sign is up on the doors of the Happy Hearing Centers of America. The locations in Greensboro, Kernersville, Winston-Salem and Mocksville all closed unexpectedly January 17th.
A patient called the Better Business Bureau after she went to go pick up her hearing aid. The BBB now has an alert up for the Happy Hearing Centers of America. It explains the Manager Tommy Collie died in late December. And repeated calls have been unanswered.
A BBB spokesperson told 2WTK the organization isn't just worried about the purchases patients have made, they're concerned about the medical records in each of the offices.
If you are a patient of the Happy Hearing Centers of America the BBB says you should file a complaint with them.
2WTK has also been in contact with the Attorney General's office and the Hearing Aid Fitting and Licensing Board to get more information for patients.
