GREENSBORO, NC -- Young children love to snack, but they can easily make a mess while doing so.
Ivan has two young children -- a 1-year-old son and a 3-year-old daughter. He's eager to try the kid-proof Gyro Bowl, which claims it "spins and spins and stuff stays in."
First, the kids learn how the bowl works. There were a couple of spills while they tested the product.
But despite the Gyro Bowl being -- well, a bowl, the children see it as a toy. Ivan's daughter even hides her Minnie Mouse in it.
Unfortunately, there is only one Gyro Bowl to go around, which leads to a little fighting.
Although the kids like the product, Ivan finds one serious problem.
"It's a very nice bowl, but sometimes the food sticks in the corner so it can't rotate," he says.
Also, at $19.90, it's a bit overpriced.
Ivan decides to give the Gyro Bowl a mixed review: one thumb up, one thumb down.
